Each container is tracked as an individual with a unique identifier. In RFID systems, the label has three components, an RFID transponder (or tag) mounted behind the label, a bar code utilized for reading with legacy bar code scanners, and human readable information. |

Likewise, benches possess unique identifiers through their labels.
Through an RFID or barcode scan, the containers are associated with the bench on which it resides.
The bench location is tracked by the RFID system as it moves throughout the facility, providing up to the moment accuracy for each container in inventory.
